solicut 23cm carving knife

Completely drop-forged in Solingen Germany made from  x50CrMoV15 stainless carbon steel.  The handle design is traditional and the material is POM, a non shrink nor expanding synthetic that could be placed in the dishwasher.  (not recommended, as rivets can corrode slightly and discolouring of blade may also occur after extensive use).  The blade is finely tapered and will hold a good edge.  The 23cm blade length is ideal for carving.  Easily maintained with a good knife steel.  Comes in gift box.
